Obituary
Lori O’Sullivan passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2024. She was born in Renton, Washington to Edward Rich and Verda Horsfall on September 22, 1955.
She grew up with her three brothers, David, Scott, and Kevin in Burien, WA. She graduated from Highline High School in 1973.
Lori met Bill O’Sullivan on November 22, 1972. It was the luckiest day of his life. They fell in love and were married on May 31, 1975. She was an amazing, joyful, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Anyone who knew her would say she was truly one of a kind! She loved entertaining and spending time with family and friends. She had a zest for life and a knack for making all holidays and life events special. She was beautiful, smart, interesting, funny, charming, caring, kind and empathetic. She had a way of bringing out the best in others. She loved teaching and spent over 20 years teaching at Gregory Heights Elementary, mostly with special needs children. She loved all children and absolutely adored her seven wonderful grandchildren.
Lori is survived by her husband Bill, brothers David (Terri), Scott (Vickie) and Kevin (Debbie), her two children Erin Miller (Luke), Megan Pierce (Ryan) and 7 grandchildren: Liliana, Grayson, Bennett, William Dutch, Sadie, Jonathan, and Gracie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Bonney Watson Funeral Home 16445 International Blvd, Seatac WA 98188 on March 9 at 1 PM
I’m sorry to hear about Lori’s passing away, especially at a still somewhat young age. My sincere condolences to her family.
Her mother, Verda Horsfall, lived at our retirement home here in Normandy Park some years back, and Lori would often come to visit her. In the meantime, she would stop by and have lunch with some of us residents in the dining hall. Lori was pleasant company and always positive and upbeat about things. Home and family seem to have been very important to her, which is good. I’m sure she will be missed by all.
Yours Sincerely,
Brian Costello
