Lorraine Vorwerk
A residence of Auburn for 49 years passed away January 30, 2006 following complications of surgery. Lorraine was born to Bedrick and Anna Honcik on December 9, 1931 in Becker County Minnesota. In 1957, she moved to Washington with her husband where they settled on their property in Auburn. Lorraine loved to help others and her home was always open to her friends and family. “The more the merrier” she would say. Mom will be deeply missed by her four children, Lee Vorwerk, Les Tracy Vorwerk, Barbara Mark Strain, Bonnie Osborn and her three grandchildren, Nathan Vorwerk, Jacob Strain and Sam Strain. Lorraine, better known as “Applesauce Gramma”, was special to a lot of people. She was dear to not only her family but to all her friends, her valued neighbors and all her brothers and sisters at the Kingdom Hall. A memorial services will be held on Saturday February 11th at 3:00pm at the Kingdom Hall 31519 6th Ave. S. Federal Way.
