Obituary

Louise Frances Wilson died January 7, 2005 in Lynnwood, WA. Louise was born on August 4, 1928, the second to the youngest of 7 children to parents Mary and Andrew Seitz in Burt, North Dakota. Most of her youth was spent growing up in Missoula, Montana and she relocated to the Seattle area in the early 1940’s. In Seattle during the 1940’s she worked as a riveter girl to support the war and eventually ended up in the nursing field, working for 23 years at Swedish Hospital. She was able to retire at the age of 62. Louise enjoyed to spend time with her family, playing bingo, gambling, traveling, and was a loyal fan of the television show, “The Price is Right.” Most importantly, the time, devotion, and love she gave her family cannot be put into words. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Charles David Wilson of 35 years, sister Haroldine Dai, brother Al Seitz, her children Dennis Gunter, Ronald Gunter, Yvonne Arntson, and Stephen Gunter, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at the Wilson home in the near future, please contact the family for the date and time. Please make donations in her name to the Providence Hospital Hospice Program who cared for her wonderfully in her final months.

Coming home with my grandmother not there is just not the same. She was the most inspirational person in my life. She always excepted me for who I am and had a way to make me feel loved that no one can compare to. I miss her but I know that she is still with me everyday because she is carried in my heart.

I enjoyed reading the Memorial and it’s funny how you can know someone “in” your family for so long and really know so little about them? I do know ! That Lou and Dave were happy partners for many years*

My condolences *

I see her face and her “eye brow ” lift when she talked, in my own childrens faces. It is a constant reminder of a lady I truely loved and respected. I, too, truely miss her and our long late night talks when I was lucky enough to get to spend the night and visit. Lou and Dave always made us feel so welcome. She will not be replaced. And yes, she will be in our heart also forever.
