Lucila Marquez Merced
Lucila was born July 19, 1928 in Cavite, Philippines to Joaquin and Laura Vito Cruz Marquez. She passed away at home in Seattle, Washington June 26, 2008. Lucila loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. Lucila is survived by her beloved husband Ildefonso Merced, Sr., sons Jorge Merced, Ildefonso Merced, Jr., Russell Merced, Roberto Merced, Allan Merced and Arthur Merced, daughter Susan Noche, 5 sisters, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Lucila was preceded in death by a son Reynaldo in 2002.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 1st from 2:00 – 8:00pm, and Wednesday, July 2nd from 10:00am – 12:00 midnight, with Funeral Services Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 3:00pm all at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188, 206 242-1787.

I just received the sad news about your loss this afternoon when I called your Auntie Lynda and Jem and Jenny, to greet everyone in the family circle in Seattle, “A Happy Fourth of July.”

Dear Bobby, I know how you and your family will miss your mother.
