Lucile N. Cook
Of South Park passed away Tuesday June 7, 2011 at the age of 90.
Lucile was born January 30, 1921 in Merriam, KS to Myrtle & Tracy Nininger. One of 4 children, Lucile graduated from High School in 1938. In 1940 she was married to George Cook. In 1948 with their 1 year old daughter Joanne they moved from Kansas City, MO to Seattle, where she and George had 4 more children. Lucile and George were married for 67 years until George’s death in 2007. Also preceding her in death was their daughter Janet Palmer in March 2008.
Lucile is survived by her daughter Joanne Cook of Takaungu, Kenya, son and daughter-in-law Philip and Cindy Cook of Redmond, son and daughter-in-law Doug Cook and Barbara Schreibe of Seattle, and daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Bryan Hill of Burien. Grandchildren Laura Phillips, Stephanie Hill, Ashley Cook, Kayla Cook and Corinna Cook.
Services will be held on Monday June 13th 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bonney-Watson / Washington Memorial Cemetery in Sea-Tac. Viewing will be held on Monday June 13th, 2011 from 10:00a.m. – Noon. You can visit Lucile’s memorial page and leave comments for the family at www.bonneywatson.com
