Obituary
Lucina and Leif met each other on the beach in Acapulco, Mexico where she lived. He had been on vacation from a mining camp in Canada, his home was in Sweden. They stayed in touch through letters throughout the next year. They married a year later and moved to San Francisco, California. She was a dedicated and loving daughter, mother, and wife. She devoted her life to caring for her mother, husband, and two children, Glen and Monica. They moved several times throughout the United States and she always provided a great loving home for her family no matter where they were at. During all of this she returned home frequently to care for her mother who still lives in Acapulco to this day. She was also a loving grandmother to her granddaughter, Emily. She was loved and respected by all of her family and friends. She was truly the bedrock that the family rested on wherever they were at. Lucina always had great stories to tell and a keen sense of what was important in life. We will all miss Lucina greatly, but know she has gone on to a better place. We know her spirit will guide us and help us through the travels and experiences we have yet to face. Travel well and know you are in our hearts.
