Obituary
Lourdes, born on January 6, 1924 in Manila, Philippines passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 8, 2009 in Bellevue, Washington.
After a long career as a mathematics professor, she retired and moved to the United States and started a new career with the Boeing Company in computer – aided design. Lourdes continued to teach after working at Boeing for 18 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo. Grieving her loss are her children, Arlyn Bob Griffith, Jess Sara, Mike, Joe Mary, and Charmaine, 7 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday and Friday, October 15 and 16, from 2:00 – 7:30 at Bonney-Watson, 1732 Broadway, Seattle, WA. Rosary and prayers are scheduled for 6:30 PM on both days. The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 17 at noon at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 1121 228th Ave. SE, Sammamish, WA 98075.
Dear Jess, Mike, Jojo, Arlene and Charmaine,
I am saddened to hear about Tita Lulu’s passing. Mama just heard about it today, from a friend, and asked me to confirm it. A Google search on Tita Lulu’s name led me to this website Bonney-Watson.
I understand that Charmaine is now living here in the Philippines. Is that correct? May I know how to contact her? I tried sending a message to someone with her name on Facebook.
Again, my deep sympathies. I have so many fond memories of Tita Lulu.
