Madeline “Madie” S. DOLS
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with her Savior April 4, 2016.
Madie was born in Hampton, Minnesota on October 28, 1924 to Thomas and Marie Rischette. In 1948 Madie met the love of her life, Francis Dols of Hastings, MN. They married on July 15, 1950 and shared their life together until Francis’ passing in October of 2002. Francis’ career took Madie and her family to Ontario, Oregon in 1958, until Francis was transferred to Federal Way, Washington where he finished his career with Cascade Natural Gas.
During Madie’s many years in Federal Way, she was very active in numerous parish community activities as she loved her church and her church family.
Madie is survived by her three sons; Terry of Ontario, OR, Loren and wife Rebecca of Seattle, WA and Rick and his wife Sue of Portland, OR. Madie was also blessed with seven grandchildren; Nicholas, Michael, Samantha, Ryan, Caitlin, Kristina and Thomas.
Funeral services will be held April 22 at 1:00 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Federal Way. There will be a separate celebration of life event at a future date.

I just learned of my sweet Aunt Madie’s passing also. She was also my godmother and I loved her dearly. Our condolences go out to Loren, Rick, and Terry, and Aunt Madie’s entire family. We hope she is now at peace in heaven with Uncle Fran.

We just heard of Madie’s passing, and wanted to send our condolences to her entire family.
We were all so sorry to hear of Madie passing but do know she is in a better place with Fran. She was so fun to have around and always made for fun stories and interesting adventures. She will be missed and we are all thinking about you.
