Aunt Mae,

I believe our entire family saw the “Grandma Christine” side of Mae. I will miss this motherly side as well as the silly, spirited side of Mae. Always up for the next opportunity in life, Aunt Mae was an inspiration, an outstanding example of living a full life, while being involved in so many of our lives. We will truly miss you.

There is no question in my mind that the world is truly less without Mae Allbright in it. She was one of the most decent and kind people I have ever met. Her sense of humor was always at the ready. I can remember laughing with her about something funny until tears streamed down our cheeks. Mae had this really unique quality about her that seemed to emanate from not only her generation but of today’s generation as well. She seemed to have a savy reflected both the past and the present. Words cannot express my sadness at her passing and my heart goes out to Marlene, Chris, Danielle and all of Mae’s family. I am sorry for your loss.

Norma I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose our mothers, they are a very special part of our lives, no matter how old we are. Just remember that love that is in your heart will never go away, never.

My heart goes out to you and a big hug. Love B.J.

To my dearest mom:

Everyone who met you loved you. You lit up the room with your smile. I’ve never known anyone so giving and so happy to be with family and friends. You are irreplaceable. My heart is broken. You were the sweetest, most beautiful person, and I will love you and miss you forever.
