Obituary
Margaret Ann Fourhman passed away on March 12, 2024 peacefully at home in Edgewood, WA. She was born on March 1, 1956 to Robert and Doris Fourhman. Marg grew up in Burien, attended Evergreen High School, and then the University of Washington to pursue a degree in Nursing. She spent her entire nursing career in Home Health and Hospice. She loved caring for her patients, rescuing golden retrievers, traveling, quilting, doing puzzles, playing cards/games with family and friends, cheering on the Seahawks as a season ticket holder for 10 years, and being active in her church where she served on the worship team; choir; handbell choir and multiple Bible studies. But her true joy in life was being a Grandma to Makayla and Sophie. Marg is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Scott) Barkley, granddaughters Sophie and Makayla, sister, Diane (Jeff) Martinson, and nieces Megan and Amanda.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 7th at 2pm at Peace Lutheran Church in Covington. In honor of Marg, please wear Hawaiian print or bright colors instead of black. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Immune Deficiency Foundation or the Humane Society.
Margaret left us much soon, yet was with us for so much longer than we had hoped. She was one of the most selfless and kindhearted people I’ve ever known. Strong and brave she was a lady in every sense. She will be dearly missed, but at peace now and in perfect health.

Marg was a wonderful kind happy person. We always enjoyed seeing her
Margaret was a class act. She lived her faith. Kind and wise, she was gentle with a great sense of humor. We will miss having her at Bible study, quilt retreats, and her church activities. I will truly miss her friendship.
Margaret was a beautiful person, inside and out! She will be dearly missed by all…
