It was there that she met Stanley and they were married in 1982. At the age of 40, Maggie decided to earn her Bachelors in Education at Central Washington University. In 2007 Maggie joined Stanley in retirement and they moved to Conconully, WA where they enjoyed small-town living, quilting, sewing, going to church, fishing and being part of a small community.
After Stanley died in 2021, Maggie moved back to Yakima, to be closer to her family and friends. She loved being back in her hometown and found peace in the memories of her childhood and was able to reunite with many dear friends from Eisenhower.
