I have so many fond memories of Midge and the whole family. The times that the Scholz’s and the McClungs got together were so fun. I know now that Midge and Verona are up there in heaven playing bridge and having maritni’s and manhattans with your dad! Thoughts & Prayers to the whole family. Nancy & Phil

I loved talking to Midge each year during our phonathons. Since we knew each other from St Phil, we had all kinds of people in common and she’d tell me about her kids Hi Leigh & Kimand what was going on in her life and at St Theresa. I think of her as a lit candle in my life that has been softly blown out. Will miss you Midge. Hugs to the family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. Midge will be sorely missed. She was an amazing woman and was well loved by all who knew her. I enjoyed talking with her and shared some great laughs over dominos. She could sure play a great game; I don’t think I ever won! I know she is smiling down from heaven, holding tight to Leo’s hand. Take comfort in the love that remains in your hearts. She will live on in you.

Dear Leigh,Kim,Keefe,Margaret and Leo,

It was a priviledge to know your mother for 48 years. We can remember the many times we played cards and went to parties with both your mother and father. We use to have such fun! Your mother told family stories that would have us all in stiches. We will truly miss Midge, one of our dearest friends.

Love and Prayers, Pat and Bernie

ps. hope you keep in touch with us old folks.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. While there are lots of things that will be told to you and your family at this time always remember that your work family cares and will be here for support, or whatever is needed. Personally I only knew of Margaret through Keefe, but I have known Keefe for a long time and we are good friends as well as team mates. May you be comforted in your time of grief, and God’s blessings on all of you.

Dear Leigh, Kim, Keefe, Margaret, and Leo,

I was both shocked and deeply saddened to hear of your dear mother’s sudden death. After reading her obituary this morning in the paper, I thought, this is the Midge I knew. Yes, your mother was a loving, generous, funny, intelligent, and creative women. I truly enjoyed working and visiting with her. But most of all I appreciated her friendship and support through the years. I feel blessed for having known her as well as your father and the McClung family. Please give my condolences to your extended family. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family,

We were both so sorry to hear of Midge’s death and wish to extend our warmest condolences to all of you. Tony remembers Midge with fondness from the Library Technician Program at Highline Community College. “She was always an eager and cheerful student,” he recalls. Laurie got to know Midge through duplicate bridge in Federal Way. “It was ALWAYS a pleasure to see Midge at the table. She often had a smart, funny remark, but always in a kind way. Whenever she brought food, it was generous and delicious. The whole bridge club is saddened to learn of her passing.”
