We, including our children who both said how much they valued her, have many happy memories of Bunty and of visits both by us and our family to Seattle and of her, with George and/or one or more children, to the UK. For me Malcolm this goes back at least to the year Carol was born, and more hazily in memory, before. We especially enjoyed the visit by Bunty and Nina when they tired themselves out seeing London, and we loved staying, as we did two or three times, in the splendid house in Burien. We will treasure the memory of a great character and a loving family member.

I will remember my Aunty Bunty as always full of fun, laughing and busy. Ever since a child I have been inspired by Bunty’s wonderful talent for art in the hand painted cards, pictures and paintings that have found their way across the Atlantic. Although living on another continent we kept in touch via Nina mumreceiving all the family news, stories and photos all so vividly described in Bunty’s letters, that, like popping next door, it was wonderful to visit in 2004. Our thoughts are with George and all the family as we remember Bunty.

Our hearts go out to George and family. Surely the many memories of treasured times together will make your loss at least a little more bearable. God’s grace be with you.

Becasue she lived so far away I only got to know Bunty after I had grown up, but I still have many memories of happy times I shared with her since. She was always full of fun, and ready to try something new. She was also a talented artist, and I loved watching her work. I miss her a great deal.

Grandma was such a funny, outgoing person! She knew all about flowers and birds and camping, and I’m sure everything else there is to know! After all she was Grandma! I remember many walks to the beach and around the neighborhood. Many camping trips, rain or shine. Mini golfing. Playing board games with her and always losing! She was the matriarch of our family and is greatly missed.
