I am sorry about your Mother’s passing. She was quite the character and I enjoyed our little visits at the beauty shop. I will always remember her gardening tips and talking about her working in her gardens.
It seems that 99 years is a good long life with a fine legacy.
My thoughts are with your entire family.

Angelina and Maria and Family,
I’m so sorry I missed seeing you on Saturday before your mother’s funeral. Unfortunately, we were on our way to another funeral in Olympia.
Your mother looked just as I remembered her–except for her hair color. She looked so good and lived such a long life. She was an energetic worker who passed that trait on to all of you. My condolences to all of you. You have been in my thoughts and prayers.
You know that your “Mama” and my dad are up there catching up. He thought so much of her.
Love, Patty
It was a privilege to get to know Maria this past year. I enjoyed her recall of the history and memories of the Burien area plus many garden tips! Thank you Maria!
