Obituary
Marian Reimer, 93, died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Marian was born in Seattle and graduated from Garfield High School.
Studies at the UW were interrupted by TB, which Mom called her first four year degree, during her treatment at Firlands sanatorium in North Seattle. She later graduated from SPC (SPU).
Mom was cheerful, positive, upbeat, and involved in our lives. She was artistic in many areas, the garden being her largest canvas. Mom loved the Lord and served Him throughout her life, we find comfort knowing that she is now with her Lord and Savior.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Herbert Reimer. She is survived by her children; Robin (Ken), Marly (Gary), Ronn (Laurie), Jon (Trina) and David (Jodi), 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held August 26, 2016 at Des Moines Gospel Chapel.

Although I didn’t know her, I do know, Robin & Ken. The way your mom lived her life shows in Robin & how loving and caring they both have been to their mom and I’m sure the rest of you kids as well. There is a certain light to those that love our Lord. I wish I could have known her. I know you will miss her, but this is not a final goodbye, it’s just for a short time and then we will all see our loved ones in Christ. Blessings to the family
