Obituary
Mom passed away peacefully the morning of October 3rd at Life Care Center in
Federal Way. She was born Marie Catherine Fay on November 121
1929 in
Custer, So. Dakota to Albert and Dovie Fay. She and Dad were married on
March 161
1952 and they moved to Seattle when Dad went to work for The
Boeing Co. Mom loved to read, from trashy romance novels, to looking at cookbooks, she always had a book in her hands. She loved her pets, the beach, anything that sparkled, and chocolate. Mom was an only child, but gained many Sisters when she joined Beta Sigma Phi in 1962, and she remained a member until her passing. Along with my brother Joa} and I, she will be missed by her Grandchildren, Stephanie, Chevelle, Peter, and Joseph, Step-Grandchildren Angela, Rachel, and Lindsey, her Great-Grandchildren Michael, Ariah, Tyler, Asheton, and Ryan, and her “Sisters” of Beta Sigma Phi. I would like to thank Chris, Joseph, and the staff at Life Care Center for their care and friendship to Mom for the last 13 yrs.
We love you and will miss you Mom, Nana, and Great-Grandnana

Your mom was a dear friend for many years. I loved her
“flashy” clothes when we went to dances and other sorority special events. Love and prayers to you all.
I love the photo of Marie holding the cigarette. She looks like a movie star ! She was caring and thoughtful and always made me feel welcome and “at home”. I will never forget you Mom Marie. Rest in Peace and Love XOXO
