Obituary
In loving memory of Marie Kozakova Carter was born on September 12, 1930 in Vlci, Czechoslovakia and passed away on September 4, 2010 after a heroic 11 month fight against cancer. She was the daughter of Vaclav Kozak and Terezie roz. Bourilova Kozakova. Her father was a coal miner and her mother stayed home to raise her two brothers and other two sisters. Marie and Albert had a wonderful life together and were married for 64 years. Marie was a wonderful gardener, fabulous cook and hostess . She always opened her home to family and friends. She was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two sisters in Czechoslovakia , her children, Johnny Carter, Renton, WA, Melvin Carter Sr., Seattle, WA, Jannis Ghaddar, Maumelle, AR, Ruby Schimert, Ovilla, TX ; Grandchildren, Melvin Carter Jr. , Katrina Burgess, Dustin Carter, Elide Carter, Danielle Dickey, Julian Dickey, Crystal Dickey Johnson; Great-Grandchildren, Taylor Howell, Carol Carter, Maija Carter and Alexander Albert Burgess.
A service will be held to commemorate Mrs. Carter’s life on September 17th at 10:00 am at Bonney-Watson 16445 International Blvd, Seatac, WA, to be followed by a reception. The burial will be held at 1:15 pm at Tahoma National Cemetery.
I miss and love you so very much. You were always there for me even when I didn’t know I needed you. Thank you for being my only constant.
