Marilyn Hughes Campbell
Marilyn Hughes Campbell died peacefully on May 30, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 13, 1937 and raised in Sandy, Utah, where she graduated from Jordan High School. She married Kenneth R. Campbell in 1960 and they lived in Utah, California, and Federal Way, Washington, where they retired.
Marilyn was truly humble and compassionate, and was always willing to give to those in need. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles; listening to the Mariners and Seahawks on the radio; and being with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ken, her parents, Ron and Afton Hughes, her step mother Ruth Hughes, and her sister Margret Wight. She is survived by her brothers, Richard (Joyce) Hughes, Steven (Trudy) Hughes, Max Hughes, Ross (Jeannie) Hughes, David Hughes, her sister Susan Booth, her son Rick (Carla) Campbell, her daughter Maria (Rob) Ratcliff, her daughter-in-law Nikki Herrington, her granddaughters Julia, Alexandria, and Anna, and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date near her beloved Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cremation by Bonnie Watson, Federal Way.

We are so sorry for your loss. I know my mom (Margaret) will be happy to see her again. I am sure all of her other family and friends will be as well. Our prayers go out to the family for comfort and peace.
She was an exceptional woman who cherished every moment she was with family. She will truly be missed. Our condolences to Rick, Maria and loved ones.. We know you are struggling with the loss, but always remember to keep her memories deep in your heart. She’ll be there when you need her.
