Obituary
Marilyn Joyce Garton, loving wife, mother and grandmother, age 66, passed away February 9, 2004 at her home. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald; her daughter, Julia Sims and son-in-law Eric; her son Mitch R. Garton and fiancé Lynne Luce; 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Allie, Necia and Amber; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Harn and her mom and dad, Delma and Lynden Harn. Viewing will be held on Saturday, 02/14/04 from 9:00 AM until the service. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 02/14/04 at 1:00 PM at BONNEY-WATSON Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way, WA 253 839-7317. Graveside Committal Services will be held on Friday, 02/20/04 at 1:00 PM in Chelan. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Milton Fire Department or charity of your choice.
We will always remember Marilyn as “The Ice Cream Lady” from Fife High School, and a wonderful friend of our family. She always had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. We will miss her.
