Obituary
Marinus P. Boer born September 10, 1922 found peace with the Lord on May 1, 2015 at the age of 92 following a short illness. Marinus was a member of Christ Church in Federal Way. Marinus worked many years as a farmer in New Era, MI then moved to the Seattle area when hired by Boeing. After working several years at Boeing, he went to work at Highline School District as a bus driver, then returning back to work at the Boeing Company where he retired as a Tool Grinder Machinist. Marinus is an Army Veteran serving his Country in 1946 honorably.
Marinus was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Angeline (Diepen) Boer, Mother Lena (Bardolf) Boer, Father John Boer, Brothers Paul & Louie, Sisters Jennie, Marie, Dena & Lena. He is survived by his Children Betty (Mel) Ullom, Ronald (Kathleen) Boer, Linda (George) Rackleff; Grandchildren Ann (Brett) Wornstaff, Scott (Brandi) Boer, Sandara (David) Walde, Dan Bristol, Mike (Jennifer) Ullom, Debbra (Edward) Acker and several great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild due in July. He is also survived by his sisters Nancy Van Andel, Ella Groman and Marge Boer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marinus’ name to Christ Church, 941 S Dash Point Road, Federal Way WA 98003.
