Mark Anthony L. Anico, a beloved husband, father, and friend, entered into eternal rest on February 11, 2025, at the age of 54 in Temple, Texas. Born on November 22, 1970, in Manila, Philippines, Mark’s vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to his loved ones will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. Mark was the cherished son of Marianito and Concepcion Anico, whose love and guidance laid the foundation for the remarkable man he would become. He grew up surrounded by a close-knit family and is survived by his loving wife, Aillene Anico, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage. Mark’s legacy continues through his children: Mark Anthony Anico Jr., Anna Maria Choi (David), Cherryl Anne Anico, and Gabriela Anico. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Damien and Demi Choi, who brought immense joy and light into his life. Mark’s journey of learning and growth led him to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. His thirst for knowledge was matched only by his commitment to service. A proud veteran, Mark retired from the Navy, having dedicated a significant part of his life to protecting and serving his country. His military service was a testament to his loyalty, integrity, and courage. After retirement, Mark embraced a new chapter in his life, finding joy in exploration and culinary delights. He was a true epicurean at heart, relishing in good food and the joy of discovering new restaurants and experiences. His adventurous spirit and passion for life inspired those around him to savor every moment and embrace new opportunities. Mark was also blessed with a supportive family, including his sisters Gloria Wachter (Gerald Graham), Maria Makamanivong (Joe Makamanivong), Domingo Anico, and Iaree Mateos (Domingo Mateos). The bonds he shared with his siblings were filled with love and laughter, creating cherished memories that will forever linger in their hearts. Though Mark has preceded in death without any immediate losses, his presence will continue to resonate through the lives he touched. His warmth, kindness, and generosity were evident to all, and his legacy of love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. As we gather to remember Mark Anthony L.
