Marsha Davis
December 17, 1964 - November 22, 2019
Obituary
Marsha was born in Seattle on December 17, 1964 and was the second living daughter of Ezekiel and Martha Davis. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, Washington before returning to Seattle. In 1986 Marsha was blessed with her son Marcus Davis followed in 1988 by her son Gerald Jackson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel Davis and Martha Davis and her lifelong partner Don Edwards.
Marsha enjoyed a career in retail, working her way up from cashier to assistant manager then to trusted and valued manager for United Pacific (76 Stations). Her crew considered her to be more than just a manager. More like a “play mom” and mentor.
Through the years, Marsha was so “soft hearted”. She didn’t have much, but she was always willing to share with her family and friends. If you needed a place to sleep, she would bring you in from the cold. If you needed a plate of food, “she had you”.
She enjoyed spending her personal time cooking, playing cards and computer games and watching Wheel of Fortune. Her primary hobby was to brag about her sons and their children. She had a loving sense of humor and a solid amount of common sense.
Marsha made her transition on November 22, 2019. She is survived by two sisters, Danita Davis Cain and Rita Davis, one brother, John Keith Davis, two sons – Marcus Davis and Gerald Jackson (Shanel), four grandchildren, Ajanay Bazemore-Davis, Alexandra Bazemore, Lena Jackson Adonis Jackson, and many precious close family and friends that gave her joy!
So, with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. (John 16:22)
