My Martin, he was my life. We fought hard and we loved hard, we spent 16 wonderful years together and loved every minute. I’m going to miss him so much but he will always be with me in my heart.
All my love to you Martin, you will always be my love forever and ever.

Martin was one of my favorite people, always happy to see me and give me a great hug. He was kind to me in so many ways, and I hope I can pass that kindness on. He helped me on more than one occasion, because that was just what he did, help people. Jennie, you are the sister I WOULD have picked and I love you so much. My heart is heavy with your loss, but I know he is in a happy place with your Mom and Willie, eating treats and enjoying life on the other side.
Cindy Lou with eyes are blue . . . . Many memories of this wonderful man. He tried to teach my brothers and myself the fine art of playing golf, throwing a baseball and always had a life lesson to share. He lived a great life and will be missed.
Ed and I are so sorry for the loss of your father. Words are inadequate. Just know that we care and are thinking of your family. Barbara Wright and Ed Escamilla
We love Martin! He was a wonderful man and a great “grandpa” to my boys, Devin and Ben. Being that my parents lived across the country I was always thankful for Martin’s presence in our lives. He always had a joke and a smile for my boys. We spent many days togther enjoying a sunset and a beer or two on Maffi’s porch, playing black jack, watching cartoons, and of course debating current events and the state of America! We feel very blessed to have known Martin and we will continue to carry him with us in our hearts.
All the best to his family. Our thoughts are with you.

About fifty years ago Marty and I worked together at Vickers Inc. He had recently retired from the Navy and I was a newly married 20 year old. We worked together for about a year before I moved on to work at Marco; as I think he may have. I have thought of him many times over the years particularly when I played Foster. It takes a special man to stay in your heart for that long.
My heartfelt condolences for your loss.
I am going to miss grandpa very much. He was such a great grandpa. I have very fond memories of him. He always would tell me if my parents were ever mean to me I could move in with him and he would buy me a pony. Well, I never had to do that but I knew he always looked after me. He always said I was the irishman of the family. We are going to miss him greatly. I love you forever grandpa.

my grandpa was always so nice and kind to me. He was always faithful to give me $5.00 for ever Christmas didn’t matter how old I was : and he always made me laugh it never failed every time he came over to my mom and dads for dinner on Sunday he always had a funny Catholic joke to tell me. He always made me laugh. I will miss you grandpa but I know you are in a better place.
Some of my memories that I have about Grandpa was on Christmas day, he would come over fgr breakfast or for dinner. One Christmas, He gave me a gift and it was some Barbie clothes for my barbies. I always remember listening to grandpa tell the family a golfing joke and wishing that I was old enough to actually get the punch line. I would hear the rest of my family laughing and talking about the jokes and I was wishing I could join in the fun : but at the time I was just a kid.
I also remember thinking that grandpa must be a great golfer because he loves to play golf and he talks about golf so much. Its funny how you think as a young child :
I love you grandpa and will miss you.
Visiting Grandpa’s was always an adventure. There were books & games, the pool table, the back yard & the playhouse. Grandpa had the best stories about growing up in D.C. & his times in the Navy. I was so incredibly honored when I was commissioned a 2LT in the Army; Grandpa give me my first salute & I gave him a silver eagle dollar coin. He kept that coin for years in a special pouch until he gave it back to me only recently so I could have it to commemorate that day.
Grandpa was a wonderful man who was loved greatly. He always made me feel that he was proud of my and my new family. I will never forget him. We love and miss you grandpa! Love Always, Deanna Aleks and Ayva
I’m glad he was my friend for so many years, and he will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the family.
Condolences
