Maguire, Martin William (Mick/Mickey, 86 yrs.) of Burien, WA, died on Nov. 9, 2024, in Des Moines, WA.
Mick was born in Flint, Michigan, on Feb. 1, 1938, to Charles & Bernice (Clawson) Maguire. Graduated from Litchfield High School (Michigan), married Krenlyn Kay Elser, then served in the United States Navy. In 1960, they moved to Seattle with two young daughters, Cynthia & Dawn. He was a member of Ironworkers Union Local 86 for over 30 years and was a certified apprentice instructor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Karen Maguire-McFarland & daughter, Dawn Annette Maguire (10-22-20). He is survived by his wife, Krenlyn, daughter Cynthia (Kirk Wigen), granddaughters—Jennifer (Tim Snell), Stefanie (Paul Howe), and GREAT granddaughters Kaia Marie & Kendall June Snell, Morgan Adele Howe & step-grandson Ethan Howe of Spokane and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Bonney-Watson Chapel, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188, with a light lunch provided following the service—RSVP to wigenc@gmail.com by Dec. 30.
