Marvin “Marv” Delray Perrin, widower of Mary Elizabeth (Basher) Perrin, passed away on November 23, 2022, age 85, at The Meridian in Federal Way, Washington. He was born on December 4, 1936 in Tacoma, Washington the eldest child of Marvin and Della Perrin. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1954. Marv met Mary when his sister and her brother started dating. Both couples ended up getting married with Marv and Mary tying the knot on November 27, 1958.
Marv made his career working at Boeing for about 47 years. He worked in various departments during his time there, but spent most of his time in Quality Assurance. Many other family members worked for Boeing as well. He liked to say his mom was a “real” Rosie the Riveter because she worked at Boeing during World War II riveting the airplanes.
Marv was a generous person. He was always willing to help friends and family, often searching for things he can fix for them. He’s been known to do house repairs, car repairs and has even created adapters to customize cameras among many other things.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, and children: Danny, Sandy, and Nancy. He is survived by his children: Sharon and Marv and his grandchildren: Christy, Danny, Josh, Lizzy, Neil, and Nancy.
An informal service will be held graveside at Bonney-Watson on Tuesday, December 6th at noon.
