A very good and decent young lady……May she rest in peace.
Mary was a truly exceptional person who accomplished her mission and did bring a smile to everyone she met. I recently attended a three week school for the Coast Guard with Mary and she immediately made the classroom environment warm and friendly for everyone. During her spare time she was indeed always outdoors enjoying Yorktown VA. I am sorry that we did not have more time together, because you truly never get to know someone in such a short amount of time. I also ran into Mary at the airport while traveling home, and we shared pictures of our families and she was so taken with my kids and gave me so many compliments on my entire family. Mary will always have a place in my memories as a truly lovely person who will be sorely missed. God bless her and her family.
My condolences to Mary Ann’s family & friends. I can’t believe I missed her passing. She was such a wonderful person & will be missed very much. We went to Drew together & Russia. At one point she almost had me move with her to Washington. She was one of my bridesmaids. I was thinking about some of my college friends this morning & was hoping to get back in touch with her. Guess I waited too long.
My sincere condolence to Mary’s family and many friends.
I just recently found out the tragic news that my friend, companion, and fellow Drew University alumni passed away.
I was fortunate enough to have enjoyed her life for two years. Mary was the most adventurous person I ever met.
While reading about her accomplishments, it did not surprise me that her life was making people laugh, helping others, and not afraid of taking on any task, no matter what.
RIP my friend
I had the privilege of working with her on her pilot’s license in Portland Oregon. Prayers go out to the family.
