Obituary
Mary Ann passed peacefully, from this life, the morning of November 12th at the age of 87. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Mary Ann was born in New Effington, South Dakota in the fall of 1926. Her family made the journey to Seattle in 1936 after suffering the hardships of the depression and the dust bowl.
Mary Ann loved life, and was respected and cherished by family and friends. When she passed, she left an empty bucket list. This included the first thing on most or our lists, finding the love of your life, and live every day as if it’s your last. In 1961 she met a traveling salesman named Warren Jones and together they raised their 5 sons and then retired to travel the globe. Mary Ann and Warren are together again, but the lessons they taught us about life, love, friendship, generosity, respect and appreciation will live on for generations to come.
They will be greatly missed.
Mary Ann is survived by 3 sons, 2 step sons and ( spouses): Alan Parker (Ginny), Randy Parker (Lana), Bart Parker (Jean) and Bruce Jones (Ruth) and Gary Jones.
