Obituary
Mary E. DeGuire died peacefully on March 11, 2007 in SeaTac, Washington at the age of 91. She was born on May 4, 1915 in Valier, Montana. She married Clarence DeGuire in 1932, and the family moved to the Bremerton area in 1942. Her husband predeceased her in 1966.
Mrs. DeGuire is survived by her children; Donna Joy Doug, Jeannine Johnson Ken, Verla Cook, Denis DeGuire Merry, and Dallas DeGuire Sue; daughter Judy Ayres died in 1999. She is also survived by sister; Helen Corbally and brother Richard Parsons; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Mrs. DeGuire owned and operated the DeGuire Café on Fourth Street in Bremerton from 1953 until she retired in 1977 and moved to SeaTac. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and traveling; and volunteered for several years at Travelers Aid and the USO at SeaTac Airport.
