Obituary

Mary G. Morris, ageless and timeless, returned to her heavenly home on October 15, 2016.  Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported Mary throughout her life. 

Born in Sharon, PA to Ignac (Nick) Nemeth and Mary Struba Nemeth, on March 21st, Mary was one of eight daughters.  Mary was blessed with a large and loving family.  She married Andrew J. (A.J.) Morris on December 8, 1956.  A.J., who was serving in the United States Air Force (USAF), was from Punxsutawney, PA.  The Morris family moved over 12 times before A.J retired in 1976.  Her favorite military residence was Hickam AFB, HI.  Mary loved travelling, painting in oil, doing water aerobics, and spending time with her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt Andrew J. Morris, USAF Retired, her parents, and sisters Jane Huddleston, Belle Nemeth, Irene Ando, Helen Vanusek and Margaret Demchak. 

Mary is survived by her son Dave Morris and his wife Patricia (Tish) of Arlington, VA and Cambridge, MD, and her daughter Marybeth (Morris) Wurdeman and her husband Kent and their three children Nicholas, Larisa, and Andrew, from Seattle, WA.  She is also survived by two sisters, Violet Thomas and her husband John, formerly of Sharpsville, PA, now in Austintown, OH and her sister Adele Stuhlmann and her husband John C. of Placitas, NM.  Mary also leaves behind her godson James Viczay and his wife Leslie of Poland, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mary will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA, alongside her husband.  A short service will be held at the cemetery on November 17th at 10:00 a.m.
