Obituary
Mary J. Mcintosh, 92, of Seattle died August 13. She was born in Lebanon, Oregon. Mary attended a one room school house in the Willamette Valley, graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Vancouver, Washington and enlisted in the Army Nurse Corps. After the war she joined the nursing staff at Ballard Hospital. On December 15, 1946 she married Ronald Mcintosh.
Mary is survived by her husband, Ron; daughters Susan Mcintosh, Saundra (Tom) Smidt and Cheryl (Mike) Stratton; grandchildren, Candice (Darby) Haskins, Shaun (Marissa) Stratton, Erik (Margaret) Smidt, Matthew (Lisa) Smidt and Amanda (Will) Reeves; and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 11:00a.m. Saturday, August 17th at St John United Lutheran Church, 5515 Phinney Ave North, Seattle
