My deepest sympathies to Steve, Nicole, and Steve, Jr. on the loss of Mary Jo. I have the best memories of her helping me while I made my way, moving to the Pacific Northwest as a young man. She is fondly remembered!

Our family is heartbroken over the loss of Mary Jo. She was a wonderful wife for my brother, Steve. And, she was a terrific mother for Stephen and Nicole. She will live on in our memories, and I will look forward to seeing her again when Jesus calls me home.

THE ROSE BEYOND THE WALL

A rose grew where all could see

sheltered beside a garden wall.

And, as the days passed swiftly by,

it spread its branches, straight and tall…

One day, a beam of light shone through

a crevice that had opened wide ~

The rose bent gently toward its warmth

then passed beyond to the other side…

Now, you who deeply feel its loss,

be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~

Its beauty even greater now,

nurtured by God’s own loving care.

Steve, Nicole, Stephen:

Mary Jo was the best friend and sister-in-law a person could ever have. We loved her dearly and will sincerely miss her infectious smile and sense of humor. Her spirit will remain with us always. If you need anything, give me a call. Love always, Gloria.

Dear Steve,Nicole and Stephen,

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. Nicole and Stephen just to let you know your mom loved you from the bottom of her heart. She talked about what great kids you are.The dentist office was not her favorite place, but she managed to still have a smile and laugh with me.Take care and May God Bless all of you. Love Kathy Roos
