Mary Louise Taylor

Born January 12, 1912, in Portland, Oregon, died October 14, 2003, in Seattle, Washington. Mary was raised in Long Beach, CA and attended USC before returning to Portland. She worked at the Kaiser Shipyards, when in October 18, 1944 she christened the S.S. Merry Weather. Mary was the only female working in the moloft at the Kaiser Shipyards. Mary married Tommy Taylor on June 19, 1955. While in Seattle Mary worked for 29 years as an Interior Designer. Mary worked for Del-Teet Furniture and was a member of the Associated Interior Designers. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Taylor of Seattle; son, Jim Lloyd of Reno, NV; niece Dorothy Entorf of Kennebunkport, MA; nephews David Alexander of Phoenix, AZ; Don Alexander of Rolling Hills, CA.
