Obituary

Mary Pat Bonus, 75, died January 23, 2018, with her family by her side in Federal Way, Washington.

A memorial service will be held February 7th at 11am at Bonney-Watson cemetery in SeaTac, Washington with a reception to follow.

Mary Pat was born April 6, 1942, in Portland, Oregon; parents Phyllis and Glen White; and Ted Spencer. She later moved to Washington where she spent the remainder of her life. Mary Pat worked as a manager at the Seattle College Club for 35 years.  She was a member of the Roslyn Eagles Association and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, bowling, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends around her dining room table.  Mary Pat and her late husband, Robert, were avid fans of the Huskies and Seahawks. They had Seahawks season tickets for their inaugural season and loved spending weekends in their motorhome outside of Husky Stadium and the Kingdome tailgating, hosting friends and family.

She is survived by her 2 sisters, Carole Roth and Carol Dalhoe; 6 children, John Johnston (Jackie), Kimberly Mckenzie, Bruce Johnston (Tamerah), Tammy Culver (Jamie), Jim Bonus (Kathy) and Bradley Bonus (Susan); 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Mary Pat was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Bonus; and two sons, Bill and Chip.

Donations may be sent to the American Heart Association in her honor.

I love you so much grandma life hasn’t been the same since you left.. It’s been a week today since I went to your house to see you.. I’ll n3ver let go of the last thing you handed me.. I don’t know my next move in life without you I honestly don’t, so many times I wanna pick up the phone and ask you grandma what do you think about this or that.. I’ll forever look for your pride and OK in whatever I do.. I know I’m 33 but you were still my everything.. I know your know longer suffering but I miss you so much grandma you were still are the lady of my life my Hero my best friend.. I hope your having the time of your life I miss you so much..
