Obituary
Mary Wright came into the world as Marian Larsen on August 21, 1964 as the 4th child of Blaine and Connie Larsen. With three older siblings – Kristy, Neil, and Chad to come before her to break in her parents of the joys of parenthood; Mary brought a whole new energy to the Larsen home. The Larsen family then added the 5th child, Jana four years after Mary was born.
Mary attended Cedarhurst Elementary School, Puget Sound Junior High, Glacier High School, and graduated from Highline High School after Glacier closed and students had to transfer to another local High School.
Mary was a social butterfly her whole life and she loved making friends in all the places she went. She also learned to play the piano and the flute, enjoyed participating in church sports, and cooking and baking. She loved being creative and appreciated beautiful flowers and plants; and creating fun craft projects. She found her professional passion after enrolling in beauty school and went on to have a long and successful career as a hair stylist in several Burien area salons as well as opening and running her own salon for a while.
She married Roger Allen Wright in 1984, and they welcomed three children over the years. Ashley Tayler, Jaryd Allen, and Erik Allen. Although Mary and Roger divorced, their children remained a great shared connection between them.
Mary remained socially active until she passed away, and was always someone who appreciated a good laugh. She is survived by her three children, Ashley Lovelace, Jaryd Wright, and Erik Wright as well as two grandchildren Zakari Lovelace and Nariah Lovelace; and a new granddaughter on the way any day.
