Massimiliano Minni was born April 5, 1979 Foligno, Perugia, Italy. He was a brilliant young man who studied mechanical engineering at University of Perugia. After he graduated Massi was given the opportunity to work for a division of Umbra Group, an Italian aerospace firm located in Seattle. He moved to Seattle in 2009 to take the position and made many dear friends within the company. He quickly joined a soccer team that became a second family to him: The Rabid Dust Bunnies. Soon after Massi met his future wife Caroline Turner. The two fell deeply in love and shared a fairy tale romance until his passing on April 14. Massi was so loved and adored by those who knew him. He was the shining light of his family, mother Rita Cesca, father Sandro Minni and beloved little sister Erika Minni of Foligno, Italy. Massi’s mother called him “amore di mamma”, translated means the love of your mother. For his cousin Stefano Minni of Seattle, Massi was really a brother and he will always have a big part of his heart. Every moment we shared with him was beautiful. He will live in our hearts forever! Celebration of life will be held at Ray’s boathouse in Shilshole Saturday April 20 from 11-3.

Era un giovane brillante che aveva studiato ingegneria meccanica all’universita’ di Perugia.
Dopo la laurea aveva trovato lavoro alla Umbra Group in una divisione aerospaziale con sede a Seattle.
Massimiliano si e’ trasferito a Seattle nel 2009 e immediatamente fatto molte amicizie all’interno dell’azienda.
Si e’ velocemente unito ad una squadra di calcio, The Rabid Dust Bunny, che per lui sono diventati una seconda famiglia.
Poco dopo ha incontrato la sua futura sposa, Caroline Turner.
I due si sono profondamente innamorati e hanno condiviso una favola romantica fino al momento del suo addio il 14 di Aprile.
Massi era amato e adorato da chiunque lo conoscesse.
Massi era la Luce della sua famiglia, la mamma Rita Cesca, il papa’ Sandro Minni, e Della sua amatissima sorellina Erika.
La mamma amava chiamarlo “amore di mamma”.
Per suo cugino Stefano era molto piu’ di un cugino, un vero e proprio fratello, e una grande parte del suo cuore gli apparterra’ per sempre.
Ogni momento che abbiamo passato con te e’ stato meraviglioso, vivrai per sempre nei nostri cuori.
Non ci sono parole adatte in questo momento, vi sono vicina e un abbraccio forte forte ad Erika.

I regularly read obit and this obit caught my attention. I’d lived in Perugia and I liked the place. People there are warm and friendly. If I retire I will go back and probably live there.
