Missy was my sister, she was also a Wife, Mother, Friend and Aunt. She was always positive and giving. If Missy knew that you needed something tangible, she would find it, if you needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to laugh with, she was your girl. Her love for her husband and children was unwavering. She was also a loving caregiver for her two nephews, and they loved her very much as well.
Missy was the garage sale gueen! She was always finding the next great deal, and if she didn’t need it, she would buy it anyway and find a home for it. The last year she didn’t go to as many sales, but had a great time when she did. I will miss her enthusiasm and delight in finding a good buy.
Growing up her nickname was (lovingly) messy Missy. Her love of collecting started early, and as she and her sister Amy shared a bedroom, there was never quite enough space, but Miss would stash her goodies under the bed, back of the closet etc. I always admired that she knew where most of the stuff was and could find it if she wanted to.
I think Missy felt that there were more important things in life than being super organized and I feel like she had more fun “doing things” than spending her time cleaning. I feel like I need to follow her example and see the beauty in each day rather than worry about shiny windows.
I will miss my sister always, and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven.
I love you sis, Dianne
Love you! Nothing but amazing memories. You will absolutely be missed.
