As a younger brother of Mel I didn’t get the chance to know him as the older brothers. I know that he was loved by his Dad as he would tell of the stories of Jackson, Ohio and the logging that he and Dad did with Earl. I did get a chance to listen to some of the stories of the older brother Huxley as he was in deep fighting in WWII on board one of the famous ships of the war. I’m going to miss him deeply in this world, but am looking forward to the great get together that we will have on the other side. We are all going to be there at some time. I love you brother and say hi to Mom and Dad, Jesus should be able to show you their whereabouts. Love Joel

Dear Dolly and Family,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Please know we are with you in spirit. We feel we were very fortunate in

being able to meet Mel in June. We found him to be the perfect host. His sense of

humor and ability to put people at ease was remarkable. It has been a privelege to have known him.

May he rest in peace with his friends in heaven.

Love,

Jim and Helen
