To The Family of Mr. Michael Edward Kelley
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Although we are not acquainted with one another, we are acquainted with the pain when our loved ones fall asleep in death.
Our Heavenly Father feels the pain that you are going through. When he created the first Man and Woman it was his purpose that they and their offspring including us live forever without the effects of sickness and death.
His purpose has not changed for he promises that the day is soon to come in which he will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and death will be no more.
He promises too that your loved ones, my loved ones and many others will hear his voice and come out of the memorial tombs graves.
Dear Kendall—
Please know of our love and caring during this time of grief and sorrow. You are loved and remembered and our prayers go with you and your little ones. May you always remember the love, joy and happiness that brought you together. Knowing that life is eternal and that you will once again see Michael and live as an eternal family will give you hope. May God’s blessings be with you to comfort you and give you peace.
Our love to you,
This is Michael’s Korean family. We were very shocked to hear that. All of my family is in deep sadness. We don’t know how to console you. May God be with you in this hour of sadness.
I wish to express our condolences to you and your family. I have only known Michael for a short time, but you both have already stood out in the Ward as great community members.
My deepest sympathys and prayers for your Family. Tragedy and loss are soon filled with faith and hope. God is merciful, when Crist is our Savior.

Love, Holly, Robert, Carter, & Gabby Sparks
I served with Mike in the California Sacramento Mission. We both worked in the same branch for over a year. Mike was an excellent missionary and friend whom I will truly miss.
I was very sorry to hear the news about the loss of such a wonderful young man. I hope that in this time of deep sadness, you remember the joyful times that you all spent together. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers
Dear Kendall…We only met once, but we have known Mike since he was a little guy in Sierra Vista, AZ. News of his death leaves us with great sorrow. Too many miles separate us so we are unable to celebrate his life with you today, but our prayers are with you, Elise, and the rest of the family.
Mike’s fun-loving personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I am very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and your family.
Remember that Love is Forever..
Robert, Nyoka, Nathan, Alisha, Dustin and Jay Morey

Kendall,
I feel blessed to have been in the temple with you the day you and Mike were married. What a gift to have an eternal marriage. Death can only part you from one another temporarily. May your precious memories of him get you through this difficult time. You and Elise are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending our love and support,
Megan, Brett and Madison Hughes
I learned this news with deep regret and remember Mike from Germany, as a schoolmate and team-mate of my own son’s, at Patch Barracks. Mike was a fine young man, coming into his own in a field where service to his fellow man, and society, were fundamental. Wendy and I can’t begin to imagine the tragedy of such a loss and offer our profound regrets and deepest condolensces. With love and hope,
Scott and Wendy LaCoss
God bless you, Kendall and Elise and the rest of the family. We pray that He will sustain you and protect you always. I remember that early morning phone call from Korea, telling us that our grandson was born, we were so happy and could hardly wait until he family, Mom, Dad & Mike E came to visit in May 1981.
We were so proud and happy when he was pinned as a police officer, and were looking forward to the birth of a second great- grandaughter. We’ll love you always. Thank you, Kendall, for keeping us in the circle of your love..
Kendall,
While I didn’t know Mike and haven’t spoken to you in quite some time I feel that having a sneak peek into your lives through your blog posts have allowed me to see what a wonderful mother you are and what a great father that Mike was. I know that you will continue on being a beautiful, loving mother to Elise and your little girl on the way. You are so blessed to have these precious gifts to remind you of your loving husband. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers as you make it through this difficult time.
With Love,
Mike, Jamie and Dilyn Ford
I was very sorry to hear of the loss of this fine young man. I thought of him and my son Scott when they were young boys, stationed together in Germany. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family, be strong for each other and know that Mike will be with you always as you watch his children grow. Cindy
Kendall,
There is a blessing sent from God in every burden of sorrow. In fact, sorrow is the most tender side of love. Your relationship with Michael is eternal!
