The Family of Michael George Welling, SR would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and cards during this difficult time.
Michael George Welling, Sr.
Born April 5, 1944 in Seattle, WA, died of natural causes at his home June 6, 2010.
Survived by his companion Rhonda Bracken; son Michael George Welling, Jr.; daughter Michelle Hembree and Parker Edmondson; grandchildren Brad Hembree, Leeann Hembree and P.J. Edmondson; sister Melody Jerome Gardipee and former wife Maryann Welling. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service 12:00 Noon Monday, June 14, 2010 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac.

Mike loved family and friends. As a
welder at Boeings Mike made many
friends. He lived his life to the
fullest and loved outdoor activities.
Camping was his best thing to do. My
best times was with Mike and his Dad
fishing. He did it his way. Rest well my friend, rest well again.

I love you POP’S like you were my own dad. You taught my how ot be the responsible man I am today. thank you for 25 Years of true friendship I shall never forget you for as long as I Live.
When Tim Monton and I started dateing Tim always talked about BIG Mike POP’s this made me worrie about meeting him I thought he was some kind of gangster or sumthing of that nature. Then we met and first thing he did was give me a big huge my hart melted I new I had just met one of lifes true TEDDYBEARS. Love you always pop’s I will miss you dearly.

Sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. I know that you will greatly miss him. I know that he loved you both so much. You are in my prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
Mike loved to have fun and always had a way of making us laugh. He said things to make us feel at ease or complimented. Did he know how to throw a party or WHAT?!? …The best time we ever had!! We’ll miss him.
We were looking forward to spending time with you after we retired you left us way to soon. We had many good times in our younger years.
You are the best Grandpa ever

Mike was a good friend and cowoker i will miss him.
I had the honor and the pleasure to know Mike and I was very sorry to hear about his passing away. I had the greatest respect for Mike and will miss having a beer with him , his generous nature and sharing his remarkable sense of humor will be greatly missed.
