Mike,

It was our pleasure to know you. You could light up a room just by entering it. We loved to listen to you sing and oh your laugh…what a wonderful sound it was. You would laugh with your whole body and soul.

What an honor it was to have you marry Steve and I. You made our day so much more special!

We miss you and you will be forever in our hearts!

Love you forever

Mike,

I can’t believe you are gone. Vincent and I Loved hanging out with you and it will never be the same without you. You came into our lives unexpectedly and will never leave our hearts. You made our wedding such a beautiful and special day and asked nothing in return because you were such an unselfish person. At one point you made fun of me for always squealing and jumping on you whenever I saw you. At first I felt bad but now I don’t regret it at all. I will never regret showing you how overly excited I was to see you and my only Sadness is that you are no longer here for me to do it again. We will always Love you Preacher Mike!

Mike was like a brother to me. I don’t know how many late night conversations we had or how many Law & Order marathons we watched together at my house, but I will remember every night and day that we got to spend with you. One of the things I’m happy I pushed you to do was become an ordained minister just so you could marry Travis & I. Of course you did a lot more weddings since then and I know that every one of those couples is happy with what you did. Mike’s heart of gold and uplifting spirit, no matter how he was feeling, has made everyone around him love him. He didn’t care what anyone thought of him and that is another thing that made him so very special. He was the life of every party he went to and he tried to go to every single thing he was invited to, even if he was always late. Big Mike will always be in my heart for the rest of my life. I love you and will miss you more than you know Mike.

Mike you were a kind heart, and full of laughter. It was a pleasure knowing you for the short time it was. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. You family and friends will sing and be merry and always remember that smile of yours and the joy you brought to our lives. I miss you brother and will see you on the other side.

Mike,

We only met you 2 years ago but, in those 2 years you became a great friend and family in our hearts. You loved our cupcakes and most of all we loved your friendship. Your smile, hugs, and genuine heart will remain in our lives forever. I only wish we had more time together, yet I know we will meet again. You made an impact in our lives and for that, we say thank you, we love you, miss you, and God bless.

Big Mike, I sit here trying to find more words to express the amount of love you had and how much you are missed, hoping and praying that you know and that you have found your peace. 18 years of laughter and fun I will cherish always. Jordan loves you, too! You have some great kids you had a hand in raising that really love and miss you. So many lives you touched. You are truly special to us all. Rest in peace, my friend

My heart is breaking and overwhelmed in pain in the wake of Mike Boyd’s tragic death.

The fact that he suffered in silence instead of asking for help is overwhelming to me.

I wish I had known…I would have definantly at least been a person he could have confided in. Sometimes that is all it takes!

“To the world you may be but just one person but to that one person you may be the world!

Maybe in his honor we can start healing and building up tarnished relationships. Forgive and be forgiven

Would it not be great if we can all put our issues toward someone, or your fears and distrust deflected, to those that may need your ear, your hand, or your presence in their lives?

This inspiration came thru my tears, Straight from one of the most beautiful souls ever to have walked this earth. You will be missed, your presence will heal those touched by you life. I will see you again my friend! Take care of those loved ones of ours with your wings!

I know you’re just as special up there as you were to each of us. Rest in peace my dear friend. Gone but Never forgotten

Mike,

Sweet friend… you have made so many people smile, and we cry now missing those smiles and that laughter. But I’ve watched over the last several days as you did what you’ve always done, brought people together to celebrate life… to laugh, and drink and be merry. I didn’t know you for very long, but you touched my heart… and my funny bone… we will miss your voice, your hugs and your heart. Cheers, my dear.
