Obituary

Monika Reirson

Monika Reirson passed away on November 1, 2009 in Canada.

She was born in Wurzburg, Germany on December 16, 1948 and she moved to the US with her family in 1956.

She loved listening to Dixie 88 on the radio, watching movies and anything that had to do with her grandchildren.

She also loved to help people whenever she could and she was very good at getting her opinion across and speaking her thoughts.

She always knew when something was bothering someone and was always there to listen or give advice anyway she could. She was very stubborn and set in her ways, but she was always there when someone needed her whether it was a family member, friend, or stranger.

We remember one time when she gave 2 hitchhikers a ride from Auburn, WA to Portland, OR and paid for their hotel room for 1 week, and gave a waitress a $100.0 tip because the waitress was working 2 jobs and it was around Christmas time.

She was there for anyone no matter who they were.

In her own way, she tried to teach anyone she got to know how to be open minded and to think about where they were going in life, and she opened peoples eyes to a different view of life.

She touched a lot of peoples lives.

She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Shenandoah Reirson, her mother Elizabeth Vihilidal, and her husband Allen Reirson.

She is survived in death by her father John Vihilidal, her brothers Guenter, and Johnny, and her twin sister Rosemary, her sons Boxey, and Toby Reirson, her daughter-in-law Tabitha Reirson, and her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Shenandoah, Nickademous, Jade, Alucard, Fabian, and Shenara Reirson, and her nephews Thomas, Corey, Gunn Jr., and her nieces Nikki, Lori, Lisa, and Bridget, and her many, many friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA 98188.
