It was an honor to know Naomi through Trinity United Methodist church. I loved watching her and Jay come into church, dressed so beautifully and always so gracious and kind. If ever there was a saint heading on the express train to heaven, it would be Naomi. She will be greatly missed.

Spent so much time at your Mother’s house. I really enjoyed her company. Diana and I will be there Tuesday. Hope the family is doing okay.

Sincerely,

Mom. I know you’re up there shining down & watching over us from your star. Your spirit is everlasting.

Mom-

You are indeed shining down on us from your star.

Also checking up on us- helping us mind our manners, and most of all reminding us, as you did the last time you “held court” on Mother’s day to “never forget that the most important thing is love”.

You gave that to all of us in overflowing measure, and we are so rich for it.

Missing you,

I feel so blessed to have had my GREAT Grandma around for the 25 I’ve been on this Earth. Very few people are able to say they’ve had that. Although physically gone, her presence is still felt by me and I’m sure by many others whose lives were touched by her in some way or another. We love you Great Grandma! I know your soul is just continuing on its never ending journey!

Thank you for sending me a notice of Naomi’s passing. By our conversations, I could tell that she was a very gracious person. I remain in your debt for your many acts of kindness and support. My prayer is that someday all of our activities will be paid in full, if not by our own works which will continue over our whatever remains of our own lives, then by the gift of God which is steadfast.

I keep thinking of the wonderful months I spent with you in Seattle. I would have liked to visit more often, but it is a long way from Belgium. However, I do think of all of you a lot and offer my sincere condolences at the loss of Naomi who was such a dear person to all who knew her. I was so sorry I could not be there to share your 70th anniversary but I was hoping maybe she would reach 100 years and I would have made sure I came to celebrate. Sadly, it was a wishful dream and now, it will stay that way. Love, Nancy
