Connie and Rodney,

There is no pain greater than that of a parent who loses a child. Nobody can say they “Know how you feel,” if they have not experienced this unbearable loss. So, we just want you to know that we are lifting all of you – including Nathan’s family – up in prayer, and asking that “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” May He hold and comfort you in His unchanging hand.

Dear Connie, Rodney, and family:

We are deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved son Nathan. I fondly recall your pride when talking about his accomplishments on the football field, and how great a father he had become. Norma and I share in your sorrow. Please know that we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Nathan’s soul now rests peacefully in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

John 14:1-3

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

Dear Proctor Family,

Although some time has passed, all my deepest sympathy goes out to you – his parents, children and other family members and loved ones. Having known Nathan so many years ago when we attended The University of Missouri together, I am deeply saddened to have just recently learned of his passing from a mutual friend from Mizzou who played on the football team with him. Tank, as we all called him, was a good friend and spoke proudly of his children. I pray that God continues to grant you strength and that his compassion and love lifts you up when you need to lean on Him for a little while. I will keep Nathan in my memory and all the best wishes in my heart for his children, for the rest of my days. May God Bless you.
