Obituary
Neal Anthony BELT
Born on November 11, 1959 and passed away on Oct. 1, 2007. Neal had a smile and laughter that lit up the world and all those around him. He will be remembered for his charisma, kindness, acceptance of others and unconditional love. He taught us how to appreciate the simple things in life and how important it is to extend ourselves to other fellow human beings. Neals favorite words were “Love”, “Faith”, “Patience” and “Perseverance”. He loved people, music, dancing, snowboarding and fishing. Most of all he cherished the valuable and unforgettable times he spent raising the love of his life, Niko. He touched everyone he came into contact with and will forever be remembered. He leaves behind four wonderful children, who will continue to remind us of him; Clayton, Tausha, Niko and Suriya. In lieu of flowers, please make donations and or volunteer your time to Children’s Home Society of Washington, 3300 NE 65th Seattle, WA. 98115 or 206-695-3200. Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Please visit Neal’s guestbook and for updated service information at www.bonneywatson.com
To The Family of Mr. Neal Anthony Belt
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to each of you. Although we are not acquainted with one another, we are acquainted with the pain when our loved ones fall asleep in death.
Our Heavenly Father feels the pain that you are going through. When he created the first Man and Woman it was his purpose that they and their offspring including us live forever without the effects of sickness and death.
His purpose has not changed for he promises that the day is soon to come in which he will wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes forever and death will be no more.
He promises too that your loved ones, my loved ones and many others will hear his voice and come out of the memorial tombs graves.
Today as every day, I’m thinking about my big brother. Today is the day your love was graced upon us. Today I will celebrate what you contributed to my life and remember how much I love my big brother. Continue to watch over me like big brothers do. I love you ‘Tony’.
For everything there is a season,
and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to be born,
and a time to die

NO DIFFERENCE- by Shell Silverstein
Small as a peanut, big as a giant, we’re all the same size when you turn off the light.
Rich as a sultan, poor as a mite, we’re all worth the same same when you turn off the light. Red, black or orange, yellow or white, we all look the same when we turn off the light.
So maybe the way to make everything right is for God to just reach out and turn off the light!
Goodnight Neal

Like so many earthly delights that mesmerize with their beauty: the perfect rose, sunset over puget sound, snowcapped olympic mountains, or an exquisite orchid- here temporarily to add beauty to our days. We must make time to appreciate and take in the joy they bring at their peak. Change is constant. Beauty surrounds us. Many times it seems that beauty and fragility are intertwined. The greater the beauty the more fragile the organism…you are beautiful, Neal. Father, Son, Brother, Lover, Friend
in appreciation of your life,

To My big brother! May your spirit forever live within us and carry us through the trials and tribulations each day brings. May your smile continue to warm and fill our hearts. In my heart you have always been. I love you Tony, my big brother. Love always your little sister. Angel
Neal my first born son and the enigma of my life may you finally have the peace you yearned for. You could charm the birds from the trees when you wanted with your smile. Your children and grandchildren will remember the caring spirit you showed in nature.

Me and Tausha is saden for the lost. I have tried to find him for many years. I pray that he is in heaven. Please call me at 253-235-1482. It is time to reconnect.
A bit of nostalgia led me this very day to see if I could reconnect with friends of decades ago so a Google search led me here. I did not know of this event. Neal and I were roomies for some time and cellies also… he seemed amazed at me for saying “I don’t care what color your skin is” and I meant that back then and mean it today. 35 years since I saw him last down to San Diego and he didn’t like that horrid city very much so off he went and I lost him. I am glad to hear of his 4 kids as I also have 4… the greatest treasures in my life. I hope for his family peace.
