With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nestor Banal Ignacio, who entered eternal rest on August 1, 2025, at the age of 80.
Nestor was born on March 12, 1945, and throughout his life, he was known for his unwavering devotion to his family, his gentle strength, and his generous spirit. He built a legacy rooted in love, humility, and resilience—a man who led by quiet example and offered kindness without expectation.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Marcelina Ignacio, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories and enduring love. Together, they raised a close-knit and loving family who brought great pride and joy to his life.
Nestor is survived by his children: Donald Ignacio, Michaela Ignacio Galapon, Marivic Ignacio Descargar, Maricel Ignacio Rodrigo, Michelle Ignacio Eleccion, Nestor Ignacio Jr., and Elijay Ignacio. His memory will also live on in the hearts of his 18 grandchildren, whose lives he touched deeply with his wisdom, warmth, and gentle humor.
