Newell was our Sunday School Teacher beginning in 1990 at Westminster Assembly. We were both new Christians and were so blessed to sit under his teaching. He took a real interest in our walk with Jesus and mentored Blaine, who went on to become a graduate of Seattle Bible College and a pastor with Continents for Christ. We are just two of the many people he touched and enriched for the kingdom. We send our sympathies to Laurita and family, and we rejoice with you in knowing that he is at rest with His Lord and Savior.
Sympathy and prayers to all Newell’s loved ones.
I worked with Newell (we all called him Willie) for many years at Boeing Fire Department. I was the driver and he was our dispatcher on 2nd shift Renton. I can’t begin to count the hours we sat in the fire station discussing politics, religion, flying, family and Alaska. Newell will missed and remembered with much fondness. My condolences to his family and friends
