Obituary
Born in Carbonara, Bari, Italy 8/8/26, son of Domenico and Grazia Buono, passed away 6/8/08. He had many adventures in Italy and France and finally immigrated to Venezuela for 5 years. In 1954 he moved to Seattle, WA to work for his uncle at A. Buono Construction for 33 years. He met and married Giovanna, his wife of 50 years. Nico lived a full and busy life, raised 2 children, Grace and Domenico, and traveled with his family in Italy, Mexico and the US. His loving family includes his children and their spouses, Joel and Molly:, his wife Giovanna:, his sisters Nina, Sophia and Agatina and brothers Franco and Vincenzo. His brother Michelangelo preceded him in death. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends remain in Seattle and Italy. He will be dearly missed. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Bonney-Watson Parker Chapel, 900 SW 146th Street, Burien. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2008 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, SW 128th and Ambaum Avenue SW. Interment 10:00 AM Friday, June 13, 2008 at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery, Shoreline. Memorial donations have been requested to the American Lung Association.
Our sincere sympany to the family of Nico Buono who lived an active, happy, full and fun life. Was a great husband, father, brother and friend. Best Wishes to all the family.

We will all miss Nico very much! He was such a wonderful man with so many nice things to say! The memories we have of Nico are so fond and will never be forgotten. JoAnne, Grace and Joel and Molly and Mikie and all his family on Bari are in our prayers!

Nico was such a very special person! He could light up a room with his smile and he was kind and caring to us all. Nico was such a sweet and humble man and I appreciated that he always made a point to come up to me and say hello and exchange a few words, tell a story or share something positive. I feel blessed to have grown up knowing him and I will always remember him fondly. Thinking of you all, Joanne, Grace, Joel, Mikey and Molly.
