Obituary
GENOVESE, NORMA J. Age 84, born November 3, 1923 to Raymond Edward & Jennie Mae Barnes Hancock in Medicine Lake, Montana, passed away peacefully December 8th, 2007 in Kirkland, WA. After High School Norma came to Seattle to become a nurse but ran out of money for school. She went to work for the Boeing Co. when she met and then married ‘Sam’ on November 24, 1945. They lived in South Park for over 50 years. She also worked at Sears for 20 years. In retirement the couple enjoyed travel and their granchildren. Norma is preceded in death by her husband Samuel John Genovese July 29, 2003 and her sister Helen Montgomery. She is survived by two sisters, Jean Bailey and Lorraine Morrison, both of Helena, Montana. Also surviving her is daughter Janie Mae Dennis Craig, 3 grandchildren, Jason Marque Craig, Jeff Allison Craig and Jenell Craig, and 2 great-grandchildren Mason and Sammuel Craig. Viewing will be 2-8PM, Thursday, Dec. 13th at Washington Memorial Funeral Home 16445 International Blvd., SeaTac, WA. A Funeral Mass will be conducted 10 AM, Friday, Dec. 14th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Ch. 10240 12th Ave. S., Seattle, WA immediately followed by Entombment at Washington Memorial Park.
