Norwin Buethe, age 86, passed away December 24th, 2003 in Des Moines, WA. Norwin is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth; 2 sons, Daniel Lana, and Ted Susan Buethe; one daughter, Patty Scott Ellerby; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Selena, Jamison, Benjamin, Marit and Petra; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 1:00 PM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 515 S. 312th, Federal Way, WA. Committal services will be held on Monday, 01/05 04 at 11:00 AM at the Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Lutheran Braille Workers, Lutheran Church Extension Fund, Highline Hospital Oncology Department or a charity of your choice. The family has entrusted arrangements to BONNEY-WATSON Federal Way, 1535 SW Dash Point Rd., Federal Way, WA 253 839-7317.

I was so sorry to see that Norwin passed away. i really enjoyed getting to know you both when he was on iv antibiotics and then seeing you at highline. you did such a great job caring for him. i know he felt very blessed to have you care for him. please know that i am thinking of you and your family. cindy
