My mother in-law’s heart was so large and welcoming to all those around her. I experienced her love and compassion with the passing of my own dear mother in 2002. She assured me that she would gladly step into the role of Mother for me. I no longer felt a gaping hole with my loss. Odie, filled my life, and others with love, caring, and setting an example of true Christian womanhood! I will always love my mother in-law, “Mrs. Odie Jean Payne”!

I am very sorry for the loss. Odie was my Godmother and although we had lost touch, she never strayed from my heart and prayers. I have many fond memories of her and Dap.
